Step 02 / City expectations

Know the rules before the scene begins.

These are the core expectations every applicant acknowledges. The complete, current rulebook and staff clarifications in Discord remain the final authority.

V
Rules version 2026-08-24

If the rules materially change, your progress will ask you to review and acknowledge the new version.

  1. Character over winning.Build scenes, accept setbacks, and leave room for other players to contribute.
  2. No random violence or vehicle attacks.Conflict needs roleplay, escalation, and a believable in-character reason.
  3. No metagaming.Do not use streams, Discord, or out-of-character knowledge your character has not learned.
  4. No powergaming or exploits.Do not force outcomes, ignore reasonable limitations, abuse mechanics, or exploit bugs.
  5. Value life and consequences.Respond to danger as a person would and treat injuries, police action, and losses seriously.
  6. Respect people and boundaries.Harassment, hate, sexual misconduct, and using roleplay to target a real person are not accepted.
  7. Protect privacy.Never expose private information or publish someone’s voice, image, or content without permission.
  8. Report calmly.Finish or safely leave the scene, preserve useful context, and use the official support process.

Step 03 / Player application

Give us a character worth meeting.

We are looking for intent, judgment, and a willingness to create roleplay with other people—not a perfect writing sample.

Your first hour

A starter guide for good scenes.

You do not need to know everything. You do need to arrive ready to listen, react, and let the character grow.

BEFORE / ARRIVAL

Set up the person, not the outcome.

  • Choose a grounded name, age, voice, and background.
  • Give your character a want, a flaw, and one unanswered question.
  • Avoid building a secret kingpin, celebrity, or instant expert.
FIRST / CONTACT

Let the city teach you.

  • Listen before rushing into a job, crew, or conflict.
  • Ask questions in character and remember the answers.
  • Treat ordinary encounters as opportunities for a story.
WHEN / UNSURE

Protect the scene.

  • Slow down and choose the believable response.
  • Do not argue rules in the middle of active roleplay.
  • Use Discord support afterward with clear, private context.
